Fairytale Wedding Fit for a King & Queen

It’s all in the details. Once upon a time, Daisy and Brandon came into the Ivy Room with their imaginations and a vision for their wedding ceremony and reception. A year later and with the help of the incredible Kate Lerman at Chicago Vintage Weddings, all of the small details were brought to life. From the moment guests entered the space they knew they were about to embark on an enchanted, magical evening. Chandeliers hung in the lobby, drapes lined the walls and a large tree was installed as a focal point of the ballroom.  From the foyer to the courtyard to the ballroom, lush, colorful florals continued throughout the entire evening. A lavish courtyard ceremony and cocktail hour complete with bag pipers and haiku artists were up next. Daisy and Brandon, like royalty, transitioned into the ballroom from outside under a sword arch.  The musical styling of Shannon from Toast & Jam DJ’s kept the dance floor packed the rest of the night which continued to a late night after party in our lower level lounge that had a 60’s feel. We served all late night favorites, mini grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, mini waffles, and mini bahn mi sandwiches. With this royal celebration, they undoubtedly lived happily ever after.
